Meagan (Branagan) Baker ‘00 and Kristin (Weilert) Lindley ‘00 are partners in Upstate Roots Design, a certified staging and interior decorating company in Rochester, NY. Erin Lemcke-Berno ’00 , Associate VP – Pathology & Lab Medicine, Rochester Regional Health, was named a Rochester Business Journal Forty Under 40 awardee for 2020. Kyle Banks ’04 , Lead Analyst, Economic Development for NYSEG/RG&E, was named a Rochester Business Journal Forty Under 40 awardee for 2020. Colleen (McTammany) Steiner ‘04 married Michael Steiner in April 2020. The couple welcomed their first daughter, Mikayla, in February 2021. Tiffany (Tierson) Joubert ’05 accepted a position as Director of Wildlife Education and acting Director of Development for Bridges for Brain Injury in Farmington, NY. The organization offers services to meet the needs of those affected by a brain injury or physical disability. As part of their rehabilitation, members are trained in the handling and care of live native and exotic animals, birds, and reptiles through TheWildlife Rockstars program. The popular program visits schools and community groups with the wildlife to share information about the animal ambassadors and encourage environmental and wildlife conservation awareness. Erin Dobbertin ’07 married Rob O’Leary this past August. Helen Zumbulyadis ’07 and husband Tim Nawjoski celebrated their one-year wedding anniversary in October! Aaron Spacher ‘08 was awarded the St. John Fisher 2020 Ten Under 10 award, which recognizes individuals for their personal and professional successes, as well as their commitment to the community. Aaron is the Associate Veterinarian at Banfield Pet Hospital. AmandaWhalen‘10 married Maxwell Dunn on Halloween. Her bridesmaids included fellow alumnae Athena Kolokontronis ‘10 and Christina Zawalski ‘10. Julia (Stanchus) Alt ‘11 started a new job as Marketing Coordinator at South State Bank. She currently resides in Auburn, GA. Matt Apple ‘11 foundedWalking For Rochester in 2020. The nonprofit organizes neighborhood clean up initiatives to help build better communities. Kathryn (Alfano) Perry ‘11 was promoted to National Partner Development Specialist for Security at ePlus Technologies - an international technology company. Brittany Polizzi ’12 graduated fromYale University in May 2020. She currently works as a nurse practitioner at the Quatela Center for Plastic Surgery. Kaitlyn (Niedermeier) Sadwick ‘13 joined Nazareth Elementary School this fall as a second grade teacher. Tyler Poole ’13 is chef and co-founder of Island Rose Cooking in Martha’s Vineyard, MA. Earnest Edwards ‘16 signed with the Edmonton Football Team of the Canadian Football League. Bryce Kelly ‘16 was accepted into Emory Law School in Atlanta on an academic scholarship. He recently graduated from SUNY Geneseo summa cum laude. Zachary Lawlor ‘16 & Luke Schiano ‘16 both accepted academic scholarships to attend Villanova Law School. Taylor Riggins ‘16 was named a captain of the University at Buffalo football team for the 2020 season. Evan Kelly ‘17 was named Northeast-10 Conference Men’s Lacrosse Player of the Week in March. Evan is a senior midfielder at Le Moyne College. Jason Hawkes ’17 earned a roster spot on Siena College’s basketball team. Jalen Pickett ‘17 was named 2020-2021 All-MAAC first team. Jalen is a senior guard at Siena College. Congratulations to Peter Huber ‘17 , who graduated from the SUNY College of Environmental Science and Forestry. He is currently serving as a long term substitute in Aquinas’ science department! Alex English ‘19 is currently serving in the United States Marine Corps. Isabella Sherron ‘20 was named to the Dean’s List at Nazareth College for the fall 2020 semester. 19
