AQ Summer Camps 2024 20 AQUINAS LANDMARK | SPRING 2021 | WINTER 2025 scHool neWs Our AQ campus was alive with excitement and youthful enthusiasm, as students of all ages and skill levels participated in our engaging and diverse summer camp offerings tailored to their interests and passions. From arts to athletics, there was something for everyone to enjoy. Creativity on Display at Art and Theatre Camps Our Art Camp provided young artists a creative haven where they could experiment with different techniques and mediums. Under the guidance of Mrs. Lorin Easton, Department Chair of Fine Arts, campers explored painting, drawing, and photography, transforming their creative ideas into vibrant works of art. The energy was contagious, as students learned new techniques, refined their skills, and celebrated their progress alongside fellow art enthusiasts. Theatre Camp brought a magical touch to Aquinas’ summer lineup, culminating in a spectacular performance of Aladdin Jr. Through rehearsals and performance preparation, campers experienced the teamwork and dedication that goes into creating a production. The grand finale left audiences delighted and campers proud, a true testament to their hard work and creativity. Building Skills and Team Spirit Our athletic camps were equally dynamic, providing young athletes with a chance to hone their skills in Softball, Baseball, Lacrosse, Soccer, Basketball, Volleyball, Cheerleading and Football. Each camp, led by our experienced coaches, combined rigorous practice sessions with fun team-building activities. Campers worked on technique, agility, and game strategy while forming lasting bonds with teammates. Every day offered a new milestone, reinforcing the values of discipline, sportsmanship, and community that are at the core of Aquinas athletics. More Than Just Activities Beyond skill-building and learning, our summer camps were a celebration of the AQ spirit. New friendships blossomed, and laughter echoed through the hallways, fields, and stages, creating a summer full of memories. We’re already looking forward to next summer and the chance to once again see our campus buzzing with campers eager to learn, grow, and have fun. At Aquinas, we believe summer is not just a break from the school year—it’s an opportunity to discover talents, build character, and share in the joy of community.
