Vicky Lopuchowycz ‘98 was recently published in Thoughts Without Limits, a selection of poems dedicated to the Ukrainian- American community of Rochester, NY. Vicky is currently the registrar at Aquinas. Katie (Brasley) Trepanier ’00 was named principal of Anna Murray Douglass Academy School 12 in Rochester. KathleenWania, M.D. ’00 , a board certified pediatrician, opened Greece Pediatric Medicine, PLLC in 2021 to provide a primary care environment that matched the evolving needs of patients and families. Nick Dobbertin, CPA ’01 was named to the 2021 Class of The Rochester Business Journal’s “Forty under 40.”Nick is the senior vice president and CFO at Genesee Regional Bank. Shawn Brazas ’03 , a highway patrol trooper, was promoted to sergeant. Max DeNora ’12 graduated fromWest Virginia University with PHARMD and MBA degrees. He also has a BS/MS in Biology from The College of Brockport. Max’s wife, Dr. Allyson Burkhart DeNora USN also graduated in May 2021 from the Uniformed Services University. Both will be doing clinical residencies in Portsmouth, Virginia. Nick Bender ’13 recently completed med school at SUNY Upstate Medical University. He is in his first year of the Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Residency Program at URMC. Ben Crilly, DDS ’13 , a recent graduate of the University at Buffalo School of Dental Medicine, is currently a dentistry resident at Rochester Regional Health. VincentWaver ’13 graduated fromThe Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine. In his note to AQ he said, “I want to give a BIG SHOUT OUT to my amazing biology teacher Mr. Manuszak who lit the fire for my passion for biology and medicine.”Vincent also received a Master’s degree in Medical Education that will allow him to teach medical school. Dr. Mike Yodice ‘1 3, graduated in 2021 from Albany Medical College. He is a general resident physician in Danville, PA. Warren Carter ’16 , a 2020 graduate of Colgate University, was accepted to the Yale School of Medicine. Earnest Edwards ’16 signed with the Edmonton Elks of the Canadian Football League. Hali Rockow‘16 celebrated the opening of her store, Buffalo Bleached, which specializes in Buffalo Bills apparel. The store is located in Elm Ridge Center in Greece, NY. Lia Alletto ‘17 started at the University of Buffalo School of Dental Medicine. Madeline Indiano ’17 started a clothing and jewelry boutique, Be & Believe, during her junior year of college at West Virginia University. Evan Kelly ‘17 , a senior midfielder on the Division II LeMoyne men’s lacrosse team, helped the teamwin its sixth NCAA National Championship in May. Evan had 12 goals and 8 assists in the 2021 season. In October, he received his National Championship ring. He is currently an MBA candidate at LeMoyne. Joe Inzana ’18 finished an internship with the Federal Reserve in August and on his last day was offered a full-time position. Congratulations, Joe! Jack Steger ‘18 was the inaugural recipient of the Dr. Dennis R. DePerro Student Leader of the Year award and the Military Aligned Students Selfless Service Award at St. Bonaventure. He also received the Brian Moretti Service Award at St. Bonaventure University’s Bonnie’s Choice Awards. The honor is given to a student for outstanding service, dedication and commitment to the Department of Athletics. Olivia Kaplun ‘19 was accepted to the Wegmans School of Pharmacy at St. John Fisher College. Bochao“Frank” Jin ‘20 made the Baylor Bears as a walk-on defensive tackle. Camryn Zeitvogel ’20 wrote a piece entitled“Message from a 2020 Graduate,”which was published in Navigating the Pandemic: Stories of Hope and Resilience.
