Amanda (Ciavarri) Granit ‘06 is the new Chief Communications Office of the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office. Carroll Kennedy ’06 took a new role as assistant men’s lacrosse coach at Providence College. Prior to Providence, Carroll was assistant coach at Maryland and Hartford Universities, head coach at Lincoln Memorial University, and assistant coach at Limestone University. While at Limestone, Carroll was named USILA Assistant Coach of the Year in 2015. Patrick Cutter ’07 completed the Boston Marathon in April 2022 and the Chicago Marathon in October 2022. He has run 27 marathons overall! Kristopher Klinkbeil Jr. ’08 married Stephanie Roland in December 2021. Anthony Bianchi ’10, head football coach at Penfield, was named the Bills-ADPRO Sports Coach of the Week for the Rochester Region. Anthony earned the title after leading his Patriots to a 26-8 win over previously undefeated Central Square (Syracuse). Nicholas Croce ‘10 joined Mathematica as a research analyst. Sabrina Cartan ‘11 recently joined Potomac Productions as the Director of Digital Strategy, where she works with actress, singer, and advocate Lynda Carter on the preservation of the Wonder Woman legacy and several philanthropic projects, including the development of the Smithsonian American Women’s History Museum. Sabrina was also recently elected Board President of Fandom Forward, a nonprofit organization that uses the power of pop culture to make civic engagement and activism more accessible. Taylor (Cook) Herman ’11 was named Competitive Cheerleading Fall Sectionals 2022 Coach of the Year for Class C. Taylor has been a cheerleading coach at Aquinas since 2014. Hannah (Osgood) Dean ’12 was promoted to Specialist Material Engineer at L3Harris Technologies Space and Airborne Systems. Hannah also graduated from RIT in May 2022 with a Masters in Industrial and Systems Engineering. She was chosen to be the College Graduate Delegate for the Kate Gleason College of Engineering Class of 2022, where she had the honor of delivering a commencement speech and representing her college during RIT’s schoolwide convocation ceremonies. Margaret Connelly ‘13 won the Eileen K. Crawford Award for Educators in recognition of excellence in special education. Margaret is a teacher in Arlington, VA. Patrick Neary ’13 and Amanda McMahon ’13 celebrated their one year wedding anniversary in December. Dominic Arieno ’14 and Elizabeth Bell ’15 celebrated their one year wedding anniversary in December. Marissa DelVecchio ‘15 played the role of Roxie in Chicago the Musical at the OFC Creations Theatre Center Main Stage. Andrew Hoyt ‘15 is now VP of Business Operations for Rochester’s new soccer team, the Flower City Union. Ally Bianchi ‘16 accepted a Kindergarten teaching position at St. Lawrence, her elementary alma mater. Conrad Brake ’16 made the Baltimore area’s Inno Under 25 list for his startup, Let’s Tap In - an app that allows you to share and receive realtime data about all aspects of the local bar scene and also utilizes gamification. The list recognizes the top founders, entrepreneurs, innovators and leaders under 25. Dominic Bushen ‘17 recently finished his army training and is now a Second Lieutenant in the Armor Division of the US Army. He is stationed at Fort Bliss, TX. Tyler Dellina ’17, a forward for the Watertown Wolves of the Federal Prospects Hockey League, won the Commissioners Cup Championship in May 2022. Jalen Pickett ’17, a captain on the Penn State men’s basketball team, was named 1st team All-Big Ten, as well as All-American by multiple outlets, becoming the first Nittany Lion to be named All-American in 68 years. Jalen helped lead Penn State to the NCAA men’s basketball tournament for the first time since 2011. Alana Piano ’18 was selected team captain of the Duquesne women’s lacrosse team for her senior season. Jack Steger ‘18 has been named the Assistant Director of Alumni Engagement at St. Bonaventure. One of Jack’s primary responsibilities will be to develop programming for young alumni. Natalia Visca ‘18 was recognized by SUNY Brockport at The School of Business & Management (SOBAM) Honors and Awards Ceremony. She was selected as the Departmental Scholar for the Marketing Department for 2021-22. Joe Bronco ’20 was named Mercyhurst Special Teams Player of the Week for football. Zach Johnson ’20, punter for the Alfred University Saxons, received Empire-8 All Conference honors. Zach led the Alfred University special teams unit, accumulating seven punts of 50 yards or more. He also led the conference in punts landed inside the 20-yard line with 14 this past fall. Gavin Conlan ’21 travelled to Limerick, Ireland this past August as part of 2022 World Lacrosse Men’s U21 World Championship at the University of Limerick. Gavin was an alternate goalie for team Ireland. He is currently a sophomore, lacrosse goalie at Lake Erie College in Painesville, Ohio, studying business administration with a minor in coaching. 27 Share your good news!
