14 AQUINAS LANDMARK | SPRING 2021 Meet the New Members of Aquinas’ Board of Trustees Edward Fiorentino ‘76 Chairman & Chief Executive Officer at TerSera Therapeutics Ed holds a B.S. in Business Administration from the State University of New York at Binghamton and a M.B.A. from Syracuse University. Ed has dedicated his entire professional career to the healthcare industry and has founded three specialty pharmaceutical companies. All three companies were built in partnership with GTCR, a leading Chicago-based private equity firm. Previously, Ed was a senior executive and corporate officer at Abbott. Ed currently serves as Chairman and CEO of startup TerSera Therapeutics. He is a prior recipient of the iBIO Entrepreneurial Excellence Award, the University of Illinois at Chicago Entrepreneurship Lifetime Achievement Award, the Illinois Venture Capital Association Company of the Year award, the GTCR Leadership award, and the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF) Man of the Year award. Sam Guerrieri, Jr. ‘83 Executive Vice President, Wealth Management at Canandaigua National Bank Sam completed his B.A. in Psychology at the University of Rochester. He is the Chairman of the Musculoskeletal Institute Council for the University of Rochester Medical Center and is the Past President of the Bank Insurance Securities Association, currently residing as Emeritus Director. As Executive Vice President at Canandaigua National Bank, he is responsible for the supervision and oversight of all Wealth Brands, including: CNB Wealth Management Group, Canandaigua Investment Services and CNB Insurance Agency. Sam also serves as Director and President of Canandaigua National Trust Company of Florida. In addition, he successfully studied and implemented the merger of Genesee Valley Trust Company and the Canandaigua National Bank Wealth Strategies Group. Dr. Jeannine (Williams) Dingus-Eason ‘89 Dean of the Feinstein School of Education and Human Development at Rhode Island College Dr. Dingus-Eason was recently appointed to serve as the Dean of the Feinstein School of Education and Human Development at Rhode Island College, extending her more than 20 years of higher education experience. Prior to this role, she served as an Associate Professor and Chair of the Ed.D. in Executive Leadership Program in the School of Education at St. John Fisher College. She joined St. John Fisher in 2007 after serving four years as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Teaching and Curriculum at the University of Rochester. Jeannine received both her B.A. in English, with a specialization in American and African American literature, and her M.S. in Secondary English Education from the University of Rochester. Additionally, she earned her Ph.D. in Curriculum and Instruction at the University of Washington in Seattle. Aquinas was pleased to welcome five new members to the Board of Trustees this school year.
